Q Considering the sources of power, which techniques can be used to influence behavior and manage conflict? Should some conflict be embraced by leaders? Why or why not?
There can be conflicts resolved by leaders successfully and such strategies and behaviors of leaders can definitely influence behavior as well as manage conflict. This implies that repetitive successful strategies and behaviors can make followers understand that the leader is making efforts to resolve and not add to conflicts more. The lessons learned by leaders from implementing successful conflict-resolutions are important to be noted by followers (Hitt et al., 2018). In this way, followers can learn to manage their conflicts on their own by following the footsteps of the leader.
